Here is the first episode of Trandrew’s personal webisode series DANCERZ.

DANCERZ was originally a name made up by a group of dancing friends at Pulse San Francisco 2010. We were supposed to think of “original” names for a new dance crew. I decided to take the horribly ironically funny name and turn it into a new web series!

Episode one loosely covers my weekend with SYTYCD alumni Nathan Trasoras, Jeanine Mason, and Caitlin Kinney. I tried to capture moments of them that weren’t shown on the show. Many times dancers on are reality television aren’t portrayed as their true selves, so my goal was to try and capture moments that help one see how normal (or abnormal) these dancers are. This was my first try, and I missed many great moments, but I had to work with the limited amount of clips I had taken with my camera.

Special shoutout to The Music Room dance studio in Orange, CA for letting Nathan and I visit the lovely young dancers and record some footage!
