REVIEW: Glee Vol. 1: The Road to Sectionals

Submitted by Alanna on January 22, 2010 – 6:23 pmView Comments

If you love SYTYCD, (which I’m sure you all do otherwise you wouldn’t be reading the site right now!) you should pick up Glee’s first season which is now out on DVD! For those of you who have never heard of Glee for some strange reason, the show follows Spanish teacher, Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) and the school’s Glee club that he has volunteered to direct. Will and the Glee club must overcome many obstacles in this season in order to compete in Sectionals and win the competition. If you have already been watching Glee throughout season 1, the DVD features video diaries from the cast, behind the scenes videos and more! Anyway, the show features dancing, singing and insanely funny dialogue. Many SYTYCD alumni have been on the show multiple times dancing and singing, such as Lauren Gottlieb (s3), Katee Shean (s4) and Kherington Payne (s4)! It is so great to see all of the ex-contestants getting out there and booking jobs on Glee! There are also rumors of some future SYTYCD hopefuls booking Glee! Look out for Glee when it returns on April 13, 2010, we know Janette Manrara (s5), Jason Glover (s5) and Lauren Gottlieb (s3) will be making an appearance!

Here is a promo that will spark your interest in Glee for sure:
