As more and more of our beloved dancers (and choreographers) are venturing into film, I thought I might give you guys a heads up on some of the films that some SYTYCD alums will be starring and/or appearing in this year.

STEP UP 3D (6th August)

IN A NUTSHELL: No longer set in ‘high school’ or ‘the streets’, this new Step Up movie takes its characters to the Parisian underground dance scene, where world class dancers compete against eachother…so expect a whole lot more dancing than the previous films…and did I mention the movie’s in 3D?

BURLESQUE (24th November)

IN A NUTSHELL: The love-child of Coyote Ugly and Showgirls, only with a helluva lot more dancing and singing.
