SYTYCD5: Last Tour Show In Everett

I was very fortunate to be able to attend the last Five Alive tour show in Everett, WA this past Saturday. It was the most entertaining show I have ever seen. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing it was, so I’ll let the pictures and videos do the talking. I will be updating this post with more and better videos as they surface so keep checking back! Pictures and videos under the cut, but first here is a little spoiler:

Brandon and Jeanine joined Janette during her solo, and yes…Brandon is in leopard print, WORK!

So Brandon comes out part way through their pas de deux in some hot pink leggings. 0:35 is the best part, haaah.

Calle Ocho:

During Calle Ocho, the boys danced on the tables instead of the ladies.

The boys don’t only take off their shirts…but their pants too!

One Group Routine:

You can’t really tell, but on all of the mirrors, Jason’s 8×10 photo is taped on the front.

Caitlin comes out at the end and is not impressed with Jason.

Jai Ho with Brandon and Jason:

Let me set the scene. Brandon comes out to announce the next dance with Randi, and he is wearing the Jai Ho costume and says that he can do the dance. Randi wants to see, so she gets him into the center of the stage and tells Jason to come out. Brandon doesn’t even know what’s going on, and Randi cues the music. Amazing!

Jason’s Solo:

Pretty self explanatory here!

    YEEEES! FI finally got the chance to check out the finale of the 2009 So You Think You Can Dance Tour. It's good to see Jason in plaids for a change with Kayla in a jumpsuit. THANKS to Trandrew, Alanna, and the rest of the SYTYCDism writers and crew for uploading these shows.

    OMG! Hahaha! Brandon is such a talented dancer! Hahaha! He gets to dance almost all routines there and he is totally FUNNY! LMAO! I love when he dances the ballet routine with Ade and at the end he was like "call me after, ok" Hahahahaha! And the ballroom with Janette and Jeanine.. Haha, he outdanced the girls there! Haha! Shaking it like nobody else does! LOL! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I'm gonna miss them! ;)

    OMG! I was looking for videos from this show like the morning after it happend cuz I knew they had some tricks planned. Haha! Thanks so much for putting these up here, it's an awesome gift for the fans! Really, I mean it. THANK YOU.
    I went to the show earlier this month and it was just amazing. I too loved the part where Jeanine and Phillip kept wanting to do russian folk. :D I was like dying laughing. No, really, I couldn't breathe.
    So you're going to keep updating these with more footage from the last show, right?
    It's kind of funny I know that season four was really sad to have the tour end, was season 5? Was the show emotional at all? From the vids, it seemed like at all the emotional parts, they added funny stuff as a last show gag. Thanks again! :)
  • Hahah, you're very welcome! It didn't get emotional until the end, but there weren't as many tears as season 3 or 4.

    The running Russian Folk Dance gag had me cracking up, especially the costumes peeking out under the medical garb.

    did you get the slideshow of pictures from jeff that they were all watching? were they holding silly string? haha looks like it was an awesome show!
  • No, I'm afraid not. I'm sure there's a video somewhere out there. Yeah, after the slideshow, Jeff talked for a little bit and then the dancers whipped out silly string and basically just shot silly string at each other for a good 5 minutes. It was really cute.

  • For sure, I'll be updating this post. Jeff is the executive producer of SYTYCD along with Nigel. The dancers like too call him Papa Jeff. He usually tours around with them when he can.
