Nathan and Mollee - judges liked their routine but didn't love it - they told them everyone else is catching up to them - anyone surprised? not me..I don't think they'll be getting much compliment from now on

on a side note, I'm not surprised jakob got nappytabs for hiphop - i don't see him being hard hitting at all and nappytabs have the softer hiphops - even by nigel's admission - they jazz it down...their golden boy is being catered to them

So after some in-depth twitter stalking, I found out that Travis choreographed to the song Stars - Your Ex-Lover is Dead. And several people who attended the taping said it was the best dance of the night :) yay for Travis!

If the Stars thing is true, I will probably love the dance regardless of how well they actually dance.

God I loved Jaimie's solo to that song. And I love Stars.

ooo jerry mitchell would be fun. but spencer liff is a great dancer, he won the Fred Astaire Award as the best male dancer on Broadway, which he got while he was in the ensemble of a show and it's normally given to leading players, so that's a pretty big deal. Plus, he was in the Hairspray movie so Adam knows him, and he's young (just 24) so it's cool for him to be able to show what he can do.

yea i know spencer won the astaire award...ive seen him in Cry Baby and 9 to 5...its cool that hes choreographing..i was just surprised they chose him to choreograph! i do hope this opens the door for more authentic choreographers...like fellow Astiare award winner John Selya!! and again..i say Neil Haskell!! another sytycd alumni would be awesome!

Week after week i have been looking forward to channing goin home nd i think she mite do well this week.Finally ellenore gets contemparorary i think they will do well especially with travis which im very excited to see cherograph agin this season.I expect a trainwreck with jakob and ashleighs hip hop.i also expect a trainwreck wit the paso doble just becuz they have so much chemistry nd i dont think theyll get the fighting style of dance.Also...Laurienne Gibson is going to push Mollee and Nathan but i think i will lyk the results.Im not sure about the broadway routine ill have to wait and see....Russel Fotrot agin?Im gud tho cuz i relly lyked his last Foxtrot

I am HOPING that Noelle and Russell's fox trot will be fine and will be safe. Because I don't want them to go home and they are a really good couple in sytycd season 6

I think its a gooood chance for nappytabs to create a lyrical Hiphop with a contestant like Jakob,I mean he would pull it off with hardcore moves pretty respectably but it could create another magical routine with lyrical hiphop following Dead n Gone,Bleeding Love n No Air....

Hey Trandrew - are you positive Travis didn't get Nathan and Mollee? Because right after Travis twittered he was excited about his couple, there was a twitter from Nathan to Travis about some tix that Sonja said were sold out. Then the twitter thread was pulled...He'd have no reason to be twittering Travis unless they were working together.

I hope Nate & Mollee got Travis! Travis' style is so much closer to what he's used to from Dance Precisions with Shannon Mather. He would be incredible!

Though he's been really immature in his interviews and responses, you've got to admit, this couple has been really tested :Bollywood/Disco/Latin...come on. That's a plate and a half! It would be wonderful to really see what they could do in their own style for once.

I don't know about Bollywood. That might be challenging because of the detail, but not their routine. Salsa and Disco are non-technical. If they got something like Cha-cha, Jive or Samba then they would be tested. They haven't been tested at all.

Bollywood, Disco, and Salsa are not challenging. Those are crowd pleasers and typically the dances that draw in the most votes.

Sorry, can't agree there. All the Bollywood routines I've seen on this show and previous seasons look amazingly challenging. And, I can't buy that Disco is a crowd favorite. It sure isn't in our house.

I don't see any of those routines as challenging as well. They're all fast-paced and you could hide all the technical weaknesses because of the speed that they have to do the steps. It also only requires a lot of energy, and not much else in terms of emotion. Nathan is also a hiphop dancer, while Mollee is a HSM dancer, so the high-energy dances are exactly in their wheelhouse, so no, I don't think they've actually been challenged.

I hope Ashleigh can pull the hip hop off. I know Jakob can. I'm also really excited about Nathan and Mollee.

Me too! Travis clearly understands her talent is something new and unique to work with since he said we was excited about working with them. Hey...Where is all the love for Channing and Victor. 4 weeks and the worst routine from either of them was not as bad as Ellenore/Ryan, Mollie/Nathan, or Karen/Kevin. Give some love for the two of them working it.

C/V is actually even weaker then Ryan/Ellenore, I would say. Not counting the krump.

Kevin has yet to perform. The choreographers use him like a prop for Karen to dance around. He has not danced yet he has just moved around Karen. Last weeks dance was not as good as the judges would have you believe.

personally i just don't particulary care about them channing is good but nothing on her personality stands out for me ..she is boring.... and victor just doesn't have that star quality i like to see on the show...

they're just there...not really exciting. i thought jason and caitlin were too hyped last year, the same goes for this couple. Nigel seems to just want a blonde in the top 10 and I get this feeling they want Noelle out - why else would they give them foxtrot again?

OMG!!! it was sooo great to see Mollee Gray and Jakob Karr take time out of their busy schedules to come take class at NYCDA in Los Angeles today! They are soooo amazing!

I certainly hope choreography is better this week and I am tired of ballroom. If I wanted to see ballroom, I would watch "Dancing With The Stars." At least they have interesting choreography.

Fail. Feel free to watch Dancing With The Stars if you wanna see subpar dancing. Besides, ballroom dances are dance styles just like any other, why shouldn't they have the contestants do them? You probably wouldn't want to see 3 Contemporaries per episode like the Australian show, would you?

I am beyond excited to see Spencer Liff this week! He's a force on the broadway stage, he has been the dance captain for 3 different broadway shows, he also won the 2008 Fred Astaire award for excellence in dance. Plus he's cute! Haha.

Haha, I can see Laurieann yelling lots at Nathan/Mollee. If Kathacy does well with the Paso, I will be very impressed. I'm surprised that Russell gets Foxtrot again, but he was good last time! Victor and Channing get a Tyce DiOrio Jazz - this could either be amazing or terrible. Hopefully V&C will step it up a notch. I'm also excited to see Jakob and Ashleigh do some HH! If Jakob can pull it off, he seriously is a dance superhero, and Ashleigh has been surprising me every week....

ANALYSIS:
Kevin and Karen: From what I heard, Spencer Liff is really good, so I hope they will be able to avoid the bottom this week. I don't even care if they're bad, America owes them for last week.
Ryan and Ellenore: They'll kill it!! (Especially Ellenore) And if they don't, I will be sorely dissapointed :(
Nathan and Mollee: I do this think has potential to be good since it's finally near their styles (Pretty sure Nathan can pull it off, and Mollee is contemp/jazz, right?)
Russell and Noelle: Another Foxtrot? I have a bad feeling they'll be in the bottom... (just look at what happened last time, with a PROFESSIONAL in Noelle's spot)
Legacy and Kathryn: Potential trainwreck. I really hope they pull it off, because they are one of te best couples!!
Victor and Channing: This has been said before, but four easy weeks in a row for Victor?! I kind of hope they're in the bottom, Channing is WAY overdue.
Jakob and Ashleigh: I REALLY hope Ashleigh will pull this off (obviously Jakob will). If she does, I will officially get over my earlier bias of her and become a hardcore fan. These two are the best couple this season (56% of the votes last week?! Is that legit?!) and I hope that it's actually both of them deserving the votes, not just Jakob.

well i think is a shame neither nathan or jacob got contemporary but i think pop jazz will show nathan's streght and hopefully i will be a great come back for him jacob doing hip hop with ashley mmm hope is good ....russel doing foxtrot again??? ryan and ellenore contemporary i think ellenore will be great in it but ryan he will get the lifts but the emotion and the jumps and turns ??....i should be interesting..legacy and kathyn this looks like a mess on paper lets hope legacy can pull it off ..kevin and karen they need to do very very well or people are going to send them top bottom again ...hope victor and channing blew it cuz i just don't like them not interest at all ....

yea in their first week but noelle was injury so she did not dance that one. so i think it's fair they got it again. since she couldn't do it the first time.

This is what I would like to see the couples dance, or at least what i think they're due to dance....
Jakob/Ash - HIp Hop
Nathan/Mollee - Contemp
Russell/Noelle - Broadway!
Ellenore/Ryan - A Latin dance like the Samba or Rumba.. HOT!
Kathryn/Leg - they're due a ballroom too, like the waltz
Chan/Victor - hip hop (and they'll be terrible at it), but maybe they're doing Jazz
Karen/Kevin - I really don't even care.

I have seen Channing dance hip hop and know for a fact that she would be great at it. Victor I am not to sure about but I would bet he can hold his own.

If Jakob gets contemporary after broadway and jazz, at least Victor won't feel lonely.

Travis Wall would be excited about the couples he could do something amazing with. Karen and Kevin -karen could pull it off but Kevin..mmm not so much, C/V had contp. last week so they are out, M/N no way they'll get some other non technical style Nigel will protect them. K/L -legacy might pull it off but would he be excited -plus they alreadyhad contemp. R/N -maybe but how much would Russell soften up. J/A most likely but they are long overdue HH -so fo that reason I think it's R/E -he would absolutely be excited about Ellenore and about how he could use R's strength to do some amazing stuff no other boy could handle (lifts ect..) so that's my theory!

What I actually think is that hopefully Legacy and Kathryn get Hip Hop of NappyTabs that wld be great but I also have feeling that Travis could use this couple very well like the intricate moves which he asks of his contestants could be fulfilled by Legacy and Kathryn would show the contemporary is contemporary,u know, so it wld be a great routine too.

Also, I expect whatever it is that Nathan and Mollee to do the upcoming week to be great. They both seem like they have taken what the judges said about them to heart. In particular Nathan. Even thought it seemed like he was being immature with his comments during the critics after his performance - I thought he was simply trying to lighten the mood and not leave things on such a sour tone.

Based off of the spoilers and what I have read off of the contestants twitters I could see Nathan and Molle doing a Travis Wall, NappyTabs, or Tyce Diorio routine. I would also expect to see Jakob and Ashleigh to do one of those three as well.

I think it is clear that Elenore and Ryan have the pop jazz routine which could be troublesome for them. I am interested to see what Russel and Noelle get. I for one am quite happy Noelle scrapped by those first two weeks because I think Russel and her are great together and have the potential for some great routines the upcoming weeks.

As for Victor and Channing I thought their contemporary piece was excellent on Tuesday. I was a bit annoyed with Nigel's criticism with it. Clearly Nigel is not a Victor fan which is disappointing because I think Victor and Channing could go quite far if they get some good luck with their routines.

Karen and Kevin are sure an odd couple though. The judges adore Karen and because of that Kevin has gotten through so far as well. Unless Karen and Kevin have an unbelievable number on Tuesday they will be in the bottom 3 again.

Based off of the trends developed in the first 3 weeks my predictions for the bottom 3 couples next week are:

Karen and Kevin
Elenore and Ryan
Victor and Channing

I think it is quite clear that the fans of Nathan and Molle alone will carry them a long way and I expect neither of them to be in danger any time soon. Jakob and Ashleigh have a well deserved fan base and will get through into the top 10 with ease as will Russel and Noelle I think. It will be interesting to see the other two couples that will round out the top 10 though. I would love to see Elenore get there. Her style and quirkiness I adore. Anyways we shall see come Tuesday.

Ugh. Laurieann Gibson is a major fail. Any couple that gets her will probably end up in the bottom unless they work the routine like Brandon and Jeanine did.

If Travis is excited, it's probably Jakob/Ashleigh or Russell/Noelle. I think Jakob is one of Trav's favs.

I agree, that Nasty Boys routine in the finale last year was terrible. Which routine did she choreograph for Brandon and Jeanine? I guess i can only remember 1 from last season, and then how mean she was during Vegas this season.

I do know one couple that doesn't have it, Channing & Victor. Channing tweeted about being off for the rest of the day around the time that Travis & Jaimie tweeted about heading to rehearsal. I think it was kind of a given it wouldn't be them anyway since they just had contemporary.

I wouldn't call a Viennese Waltz and Broadway "great routines" and "unfair" if you compare it to all the fun, energetic dances Nathan has gotten to do (Bollywood, Disco, Salsa).
